Upcoming Deadlines
estimated taxes & tax extensions
The last 2026 installment payment is due January 15, 2027. If you have gotten behind on installments and you have tax withholding through a payroll or retirement plan, then you can have them do additional withholding in December to make up the difference. The IRS treats withholding as having been paid throughout the year.
W2 Forms and 1099 forms
If you changed employers and addresses during the year, then make sure the old employers have your current address, so year end tax forms don’t get lost in the mail come tax time.
